We’ve just been flirting with Autumn so far. Glimpses of morning mist aside, we’ve been spoilt with sunny days and unseasonable warmth. But it won’t last. So before we really start to feel the chill my advice is to fill the house with flowers. Big, bold, brash and dark, florals. There’s no shortage in the shops. They can be found cascading down walls, creeping across sofas and taking root on anything from bedding to furniture, tableware to cushions. Don’t be shy. It won’t even scare the man in your life if you team these blooms with masculine grey walls, shiny mahogany floors, and plush velvet. Well it might scare him a little. But it might bring out the romantic in him too.
