Marble Tables Inspired by Japanese Ideology

Marble Tables Inspired by Japanese Ideology

Mexican design studio mob created two new table designs that were born from the concept of marrying materials while giving them a look inspired by Japanese ideology. In this case, Maburu and Porin make you rethink how marble can be used by the way it’s cut and assembled into unique geometric shapes that are then paired with either brass or wood as an accent.

The Maburu design comes in either Carrara or Monterrey Black Marble with a brass bar that joins the marble “legs”.

The Porin tables comes in a Small or Large version with your choice of Carrara or Monterrey Black Marble. The marble is supported by a flamed block of pine wood that pierces the marble, which sits upon brass feet.
