And it doesn’t get any more old school hip-hop than toting around a big-ass boombox, one of the definitive points of inspiration for the Music Dopp Kit, the latest tech organizing solution from LA’s This Is Ground.
This Is Ground has a couple of dopp kits in their catalog already, one designed for toting around tech accessories instead of toiletries (though they also include a solution for that purpose too). Joining their tech and travel dopp kits, their latest design looks to the analog days and form factor of the audio cassette playing boombox for inspiration.
The kids today might not know how to make a mixtape pressing record+play, but anyone can recognize a fashionable and functional option designed to tote around headphones, speakers, and other accessories.
The front pouch features a snug and secure spot for a phone and charging and connecting cables.
Somewhere between a briefcase and boombox, the Music Dopp Kit is finished in premium leather, outfitted with an assortment of straps, a zippered internal compartment, and a loop to hold headphones securely in place while traveling.
