Monica Förster Design Studio merges a curvy, overstuffed seat with blade-thin metal legs for a contrasting look in the Kashan chair for Bernhardt Design. It was designed to span the decades by not having a defined style that referenced any specific time period. It looks comfortable yet refined, playful yet restrained, giving it both a futuristic and classic appearance.
The super thin legs supporting the plump form makes it look as if the seat is floating above the ground.
The chair is outfitted with a custom suspension spring seat from high-density molded foam for elevated comfort.
