HAWA Beirut Is a Collection of Furniture Inspired by Lebanese Architecture

Beirut-based interior architect and product designer Richard Yasmine designed HAWA Beirut, a collection of furniture that takes inspiration from traditional arches typically found in Lebanese architecture. The trademark feature shows up in this pastel-hued, visually light series paying homage to the cultural heritage of Lebanon.

The lightweight silhouettes, which Yasmine describes as “very light or airy”, reference the Arabic word HAWA, meaning light summer breeze, making it the perfect name for the series. The collection includes two chairs, a coffee table that flips, and a decorative screen, each finished with a soft, powder coated finish and arched details.
