The Tom Dixon-Designed Bronte Restaurant Opens in London

The Tom Dixon-Designed Bronte Restaurant Opens in London

Design Research Studio (DRS), with designer Tom Dixon at the helm, unveiled the interior of Bronte restaurant, which is located on the Strand overlooking Trafalgar Square. Bronte is DRS’s second foray into restaurant design and it’s a memorable one. With inspiration from the Strand’s history, Victorian explorers, collectors, and Cabinet of Curiosities, the interior’s eclectic mix of style blends with the architectural features within the space.

While the background is fairly neutral, the elements are not. There are green leather and black wood booths, a pink concrete breakfast bar, pink and green chairs, a green granite kitchen, and a pewter cocktail bar.

A double-height space is just beyond the traditional colonnade terrace, along with a mezzanine level and a step down level that has additional seating.

Plane wall lamps are installed in large grids within the ceiling coves throughout the interior.
