Slices Reinterprets the Classic Bookshelf

Slices Reinterprets the Classic Bookshelf

Alessandra Meacci took a different approach when it came to designing a bookshelf. Instead of the typical design, Slices is a series of wall modules with panels that jut out perpendicular to the back panel which then become places for books to rest in between. Those various sized panels are laid out to form three-dimensional elements, like fish in the blue 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea version, and giant green leaves in The Jungle Book version.
