In 2014, Jaime Hayon launched the Frames collection for Expormim and four years later, he’s expanding it to include new armchairs and dining chairs. Made entirely of rattan, a material that’s been used in handcrafted furniture for centuries, the chairs display a modern approach of the traditional material, helping to reframe the perception of how it can be used.
To round out the collection, they’ve added a dining chair, a dining armchair, and a low backrest armchair, each with structures and legs made from natural rattan. The seats and backrests feature an “octagonal wicker” pattern that’s finished in rattan. The chairs come in a variety of solid colors and have an optional cushion available for purchase.
