We’re always eager to see what APPARATUS has been working on as their previous endeavors have always been so incredible. They’ve chosen Milan Design Week to unveil their latest lighting, furniture, and objects at Salone del Mobile via APPARATUS MILAN and here we take a look at what that includes.
The SEGMENT series of tables merges translucent resin bases with softly rounded, lacquered tops creating a visual dynamic between density and lightness. The segmented sections of the base are held together with fluted brass hardware, which allows light to pass through its open spaces.
LANTERN finds a slip-cast porcelain shade suspended on a trio of brass rods which are topped off with spheres as a design detail.
The METRONOME series balances a brass rod with a sphere at one end and the larger shade at the other on top of a calf suede wrapped conical base.
APPARATUS MILAN is on display at Salone, Via Santa Marta 14, 20123 Milano until April 9, 2017.

I was searching for pellet stoves when I found this beautiful design blog. I love the lighting and furniture, and the space they are displaying them in too. To me they seem on the "steampunk" side organic and industrial. I especially like the metronome lamps. Apparatus has done a wonderful job of designing these accent pieces to go with the tables. Just lovely!
