Brass Bottle Openers by Wander Workshop

Brass Bottle Openers by Wander Workshop

Bottle openers used to be made strictly for function but as design has moved further into the forefront, they’ve become more of a design piece you’d be proud to leave out in your kitchen. The latest to take a stab at their own version are Brooklyn-based design studio Wander Workshop who designed the Leverage Bottle Opener.

Leverage is hardly your classic 1920’s wall-mounted bottle opener. Cast in solid brass, each bottle opener is sealed to ensure a long-lasting finish through repeated use. Plus it comes with drywall plugs and brass mounting screws for secure installation so you can pop all the bottles you wish without destroying your wall.

If you’re looking for more flexibility, they’re also making a handheld version. Just like the wall-mounted, neither bottle opener bends the cap so they can be resealed or saved.

Wander Workshop is launching their Leverage Bottle Openers on Kickstarter beginning February 21st. If you don’t want to spring for a bottle opener, they’re offering a lower cost reward, the Leverage Key Hook. The collection will be available in satin brass and blackened brass.
