BRACE Hall Stand by Stephen Roy

BRACE Hall Stand by Stephen Roy

Based in Adelaide, South Australia, furniture and product designer Stephen Roy designed a system of metal brackets that enable the creation of cool pieces of furniture, like the BRACE Hall Stand.

The brackets are cast in brass and aluminum (both are available and in various finishes) and they each hold square wooden rods at a 45 degree rotation, which allows for things like shelves to rest. Using eight anodized aluminum brackets, combined with aluminum shelves, one of which holds a plant, a minimalist piece of furniture with added function is created. The shelves and accessories can easily be moved around to customize the unit. The stand comes flat packed and it’s made to be easily assembled on-site.
