Having an en-suite bathroom is a touch of luxury in itself. But having an en-suite bathroom that is roomy enough for a large free-standing bath, an enormous stand-up shower and a double vanity unit with twin sinks. That’s the stuff of dreams.
Take a Look
This master en-suite was designed by Summer Williams and forms a key part of the refurbishment of a Victorian townhouse. The owners had never had an en-suite before and they wanted it to be ultra luxurious. This has been achieved by using traditional fixtures as befits the age of the property and quality materials, with a simple colour palette that underlines the sense of peace and tranquility. It’s a room designed to cope with the morning rush as well as a relaxing soak at the end of the day.
At the heart of the floorplan is a magnificent freestanding cast iron bath, positioned under the sash window.
The freestanding vanity unit forms another focal point in the room where there is deliberate symmetry. The mirrors, basins, taps and lights are all beautifully aligned.
While the large shower enclosure, encased in marble, creates the sense of a large wetroom, within a room.
