Scandi Inspired Christmas Decorations from Cox and Cox

I don’t put the tree up at home until the last minute usually. But that doesn’t mean I’m not thinking about decorating the house for Christmas long before that. It’s not as if we can ignore it looming up is it? Most shops are now in full swing with festive frenzy after all. But if you prefer a more Scandinavian approach to making the house look special for the holiday season, look no further than Cox and Cox. With usual impeccable taste the handpicked collections on offer are thankfully free of tinsel and garish colours. Think metal stars, woodland creatures, wood, string and tea-light lit houses. The sort of things you can put up now without getting tired of them before December 21st. And you may never want to put them away again.

For The Front Door

I always start with the wreath on the door. This Green Leaves Wreath is luxuriously full and accented with vibrant green lime leaves, fern fronds, frosted pine sprays, and large pine cones for a beautiful alternative to traditional wreaths. Each wreath also has a woven twig backing , perfect for hanging on a wall or front door. £50 but it’ll last for ever.

For The Mantle

This frosted botanical garland is full and lush, with clusters of green berries and slim, realistic eucalyptus leaves. What’s more it won’t wilt or loose it’s leaves before the end of Twelfth Night. Pair with the wreath above or add several small vases of white or deep red roses down the length of the mantle and a few tea-lights for extra twinkle. Currently reduced from £38 to £24.70.

These Three Scandi Tea Light Houses feature intricate cut out windows and doors, with a white finish to the main body of the house and a grey gabled roof. A sweet little addition to any shelfie. You may want to use them down the centre of the table instead. Either way they look charming. £50 for set of 3.

I couldn’t decide between these Filled Leaf Shatterproof Baubles or the Hanging Wire Stars below. The above are a fabulous way to bring a touch of botanical style to your Christmas décor – each bauble has a forest green leaf garland enclosed within and is hung from an organza ribbon. £10.50 for a set of six.
